M David Humphries started his
insurance career in 1999 by becoming a
licensed Health Insurance Agent. In 2002
he obtained his Property and Casualty
Insurance License and partnered with Alva
Humphries to form Humphries &
Associates. In 2005 Humphries &
Associates changed its name to Affordable
Insurance Solutions, LLC, of which David
is president. Although David is a licensed
Property and Casualty as well as a Life &
Health Insurance Agent, his specialty is in
the Life and Health Insurance arena,
providing a wide variety of products at
extremely competitive rates. David lives in
Irmo, SC with is wife and two sons.
Dow Colet, Jr. grew up in an insurance
family. His dad worked for State Farm
Insurance for 39 years before retiring in
December of 2006. After graduating from
the University of South Carolina in 1996,
Dow went into TV Commercial
Production. Finding that South Carolina
did not have a large market for TV
production, Dow went to work for State
Farm Insurance, working in his dad's
office after becoming a licensed Life &
Health and Property & Casualty Agent in
2001. In 2005 Dow joined Affordable
Insurance Solutions, LLC, looking for an
opportunity to provide a wider variety of
products at more competitive rates.
Licensed in all areas of insurance, Dow's
specialty is in General Liability, Business
Owners, Worker's Comp and
Commercial Auto Insurance. Dow lives in
Chapin, SC with his wife and two sons.
Jason Humphries graduated from
Presbyterian College in 1995 and became
a licensed commercial real estate
appraiser. Working as a real estate
appraiser, Jason fully understands the
relationship between the value of property
and the proper amount of insurance
needed to adequately cover an insured.
Jason started his insurance career in 2005
by obtaining his Property & Casualty
Insurance License. In 2005, he joined the
Affordable Insurance Solutions, LLC team
and specializes in Personal Auto and
Homeowners Insurance. Armed with his
appraisal and insurance background,
Jason is able provide a wide variety of
products at extremely competitive rates.
Jason lives with his wife and two sets of
twin boys in Irmo, SC.

Humphries & Associates was formed as a life and health agency in
1992 representing Mega Life and Health, The Alliance for Affordable
Healthcare, and Cornerstone Marketing of America. While specializing in
mono-line life and health insurance for small businesses and self-employed
persons, the question of providing other business and personal lines of
insurance was frequently asked.

In 2002, the decision was made to move into the Property & Casualty
market and a new Humphries & Associates was formed as a partnership
between Alva Humphries and David Humphries. The majority of the first year
was spent researching companies organizing alignments, and pursuing
appointments. Late in 2002 Humphries & Associates joined the Smart
Choice Agents Program and gained appointments with a number of Auto and
Homeowners Companies.

2005 began with a name change to more appropriately reflect the
nature of our business. Affordable Insurance Solutions, LLC was born.
Since 2005 Affordable Insurance Solutions, LLC has successfully added new
companies and new markets and have grown our relationship with some of
the top insurance companies in the business.
